Barnabas Lake

Barnabas Lake (1827-1893) was born 3 Jun. 1827 in Erneston, Lennox and Addington Co., Upper Canada, British North America. He was the son of James Lake Jr. and Philomela Smith. He married Fanny Electa Snider on 31 Mar. 1850 in Atchison Co., Missouri; widowed 9 Aug. 1850. He married Lucy Jane Herrick on 18 Jul. 1851 in Ogden, Weber Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized in 1836. He received temple ordinances on 13 Aug. 1867; the event was recorded by Wilford Woodruff in his journal. He died 18 Jun. 1893 in Logan, Cache Co., Utah Territory.
