Adolphine Bertha Christine Damke Young (1859-1924) was born 28 Nov. 1859 in Lubeck, Lower Saxon Circle, Holy Roman Empire. She was the daughter of Gottlieb Fredrich Clement Damke and Anna Catherine Christine Wilcken. She was sealed to John Willard Young on 2 Jan. 1879 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, and they had two children. She met with Wilford Woodruff on 8 Apr. 1890, and he wrote to her in 1881. She died 5 Feb. 1924 in Sacramento, Sacramento Co., California.
