Ias I have confidentially had some conversation with
him upon a subject that I have not heretofore felt disposed
to communicate by writing but I may do so hereafter
I want anoth an interest in your prayers that I may
be sustained in my office & place & fill it with dignity
& honor in all righteousness before God. Mrs. Woodruff

yet they were good news to me. please send
us some good wisle faithful Americans when they

with me in this land & I shall rejoice therein
Broth pYoung please answer me the following
question in some of your communications to me

When a person is cut off the second time for
Adultery is their any way whareby He can be restored
to the Church? the Doctrins & Covenants conveys an idea
that they cannot but if their is any exceptions to that rule
please informe me of it. my councils has been asked
in one or two cases of this kind in this country but
I do not give any council to the Saints that comes in
contact with the face of the covenants & my concil
has been not to recieve such into the church. I
received a letter from Elder Dan Jones yesterday
saying that for the last month he had Been
meeting from one End of the principality to the

other in wales holding meetings in the most noticble
towns in nearly all the counties & the work was
prospering in the South of wales that their had
been about 100 Baptized during the last three
weeks in that region & hundreds of other convened
but a little antipathy to the water.

My Respect to all who inquire after me
That the God of Israel will prosper &
sustan his servant Brigham PYoung like
Joshua of old after the death of Moses
is the constant prayer of yor Brother in
the truth [Joshua 1:1-9]
