Aug 22 In company with Brother & Sister Thompson & 2
children we drove from St George to Thompson Grist Mill
in Pine Valley over rough roads we spent the night at Bennets 40 Miles

Aug 22 In company with Br & Sister Thompson & 3 children Wm Joseph & George we drove from St George to the grist Mill in pine Vally 40 M[iles] It was one of the Hardest day Drive I must Ever took uphill nearly all the way wett & very rocky & sandy I was very weary when we Arived at Br Charles W Benets I shot a rabbit & 2 quails
